925 Sterling Silver is high quality silver that is 92.5 % pure. 100% pure silver is weak, loses its shape and tarnishes very easily. With the addition of a small percentage of other metals, the silver becomes much stronger, has less tendency to tarnish and has a brilliant glossy shine. 925 Sterling silver is used in fine silver jewelry.
Tibetan Silver is approx. 50% pure silver with 50% other metals mixed. It is a good quality silver that is very durable but doesn’t have that glossy shine of 925 silver.
Murano glass beads are handmade, high quality glass beads with their history originating in Venice, Italy and their fine glass artisans in the 7th Century. A complicated technique called Lampworking is used to create this glass. The beads are usually very colorful and often have unique designs. No two beads are "exactly" alike since they are handcrafted. They usually have a large hole (4-5 mm) for stringing on necklace or bracelet chains.
